- Scope of Work: FEASIBILITY
- Technical review of the deck strength and stability carachteristics of the barges;
- Identification of the deck area where the sediment can be stowed;
- Identification of the maximum cargo on deck against the stability, global / local strength constraint;
- Identification of the min cargo coaming height to be mobilized to contain the sediment stowed on deck.
- Application of the new hydrostatic head for the calculation of the sea and internal pressure;
- Verification of the structural members;
- Calculation of the new still water shear forces and bending moments and verification against the rule allowable ones;
- Verification of the intact stability criteria;
- Provision of the report as Addendum to existing Stability Booklet.
