In a previous post we have pointed the attention on the impossibility of carrying out DP Footprint verification with the software K-Pos release 8 (see the article here) if not provided with a hardcopy printer.
We have forwarded an improvement suggestion to Kongsberg on October 2015 and we have finally been informed (after one year!) that Software Production Department has going to be solved this issue in their basis software. This fix will be available in 8.3.2 SW version. It will probably be available in 8.2.x at some point but there is not a formal release planned yet.
A contribute by Medea has been offered to the software improvement of one of the biggest DP systems makers and in the meantime Medea suggests to Users of release between 8.0 and 8.2 to “take pictures” of the posplot window with the enabled trace to document the footprint verification.
